Hi all. I just managed to work my ethernet out.
list and Scott. I followed your instructions to configure my gmail account.
I am getting pop error 10060.
Any idea why?

You set Gmail up as follows:
1. Create a new email account
2. For email address enter the name at gmail.com
3. for pop server enter pop.gmail.com
4. for SMTP server enter your ISP's SMTP address. E.G. mail.internet.com
I made that one up but replace it with your own ISP'S SMTP address.
For ports, leave them as normal.
Here is what they should be.
POP Port: 110
SMTP port: 25
You will be able to check and send mail with your GMAIL account.
Ask any questions.
I just set mine up from scratch again and it works fine.
Be awhere though, if you change ISP's or travel you will need to change
the
SMTP server that the account is looking for otherwise you won't be able to
send mail only receive.
