I think both input and output are important because the output makes it possible for a deaf-blind person to use a cell phone.

I wonder if the input applies to QT keyboards, too?

I agree with the third party software part of it, but the big thing now is that MSP can accept keyboard input from the BN as well as give braille output. I think the input is the big thing about this.

Have a great day,
Alex

So, here I go raining on the parade, but am i wrong in writing
that it
seems like HW has done absolutely nothing new? Are they just
making it
seem as though they've done something great, when, in fact, all
they've done is create a new business partnership? It seems like
you
were able to get braille output before the hoopla!
It does, however, give HW an excuse to keep the BN just as
strapped
down as ever.

Want to run new programs with your BN? Great! Buy a PDA phone and
MSP
and then you can run programs on that, and access them with your
BN.
Ah, I get it, instead of making my BN do more, I get to cary more
around with me. NEAT!
OK, I'll stop.
I agree it's good, just not what folks have been asking for FOR
YEARS!

Hi KC,

I have a feeling that dialup won't work, as the devices have
wireless and
bluetooth, so DSL or cable would be the only options. The BN
has a built-in
modem, whereas these devices do not.
