Hi Vicky;
Is this Code Factory site a site for one brand of cell phone or is it a
collection of all cell phones adapted for the blind and their software.
I found this while cleaning up. I am interested in a large button cell
phone that will later be accessable with the m-power, when I can afford
internet coverage. There was a talking phone, with large keys and no
screen that I liked. They were showing it at either state or national.
I am also pondering over the knfb reader and the skannar. Can you give
me any advice on any of these items. I think the reader is the most
important. I think I will try both out at national, where I will have
time to really study both.
I sure would love to be able to read my own mail!

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Humanware's Announcement:

I got the announcement as an email message from HumanWare.

I can't speak for Mobile Speak, but I've tried the Braille display
support
with Mobile Speak Pocket and my Cingular 8125 cell phone/PDA, and things

have
worked just fine for me so far with both my PK and mPower.

Here is the link on the Code Factory site for the HTML manual that
describes
the Braille Support for Mobile Speak Pocket and various Braille
displays,
including the PK and mPower. There are instructions for setting up the
Bluetooth connection, as well as giving the Braille keystrokes to use on
the
devices. This is a long link so you may have to
copy and paste as it goes over two lines:
