Joseph,
It's possible to download updates to the BN using the BN and a SD card. So
why do you need ActiveSync?

Rob,
I'm sorry for delay. No, it is not possible without ActiveSync.
Cheers,
Joseph

This is a reposting of the topic I posted last night
because I haven't seen any responses (and maybe that's
because of the topic being renamed). Before I get to
my question let me just say that I watch, very
carefully, the name of the topics I post and look for
the exact same title of my post in the response.
Anywho, given the Disk On Chip Technology, and I think
you can install updates to KeySoft directly on the
BrailleNote without ActiveSync, do you really need
ActiveSync at all to use the BrailleNote? I know with
the PACmate that you do or else you will lose the data
you have on it, but with the BrailleNote I don't think
that's the case.
