Kathleen,
It depends on which access product you are using. If you are using
window-Eyes or Freedom Box, you are ready to go. For JAWS users, wait until
FS releases a Vista update version of 8.0.
P.S. Please write to me off list for more inqueries (probably Andy Riden
might help in this regard)

Jose and List,

I'm on a Tech List, unrelated to the BN. There are a few
Assistive Technology Specialists on that List, as well as some
consumers with cnsiderable expertise.

>From what I have been reading, VISTA, right now, is not
completely accessible to those of us using Assitive Technology..

As a rule, when Microsoft puts a new Version of Windows on the
Market, accessiblity is an issue.

Frankly, it might be wise to wait abit before installing Vista
and upgrading from XP). However, I also understood, that you
can have 2 Versions of Windows on your laptop or PC, contingent
upon the amount of Gigabytes. If that is the case, Jose could
reinstall XP and hold the fort until any accessiblity issues in
Vista are resolved.
