Hi Vicky and List:

As far as bills, I couldn't figure Joseph out. I didn't understand his sentence.

I have a friend who purchased an mPower just about a year ago. I think most people are under the impression that when you buy a new product, it is under warrantee for a year. My friend sent hers in for that annual lookover, and asked for a battery change. She was informed that the charge would be $80. I guess what I am saying is: make sure you know that you have to buy your battery separately if you want it replaced. I wasn't aware of this policy. I don't think most people are.

So, are you saying people are getting surprised with these bills? Or, are you saying they are being charged after a discussion with HW when the unit gets returned for service? I guess I'm thinking that maybe, seeing as the unit is already in for the cleaning, the HW persons suggests the battery replacement so they then hopefully won't have to worry about sending it in
again for awhile.
And, best I can tell from reading the info on the HW web site, general maintenance/replacements of batteries aren't covered under any type of
warranty.

As for this list, although Andy did say he was going to try for a week this having messages go to the sender, overall, well, yes, I do agree that the list has been different in the last several months. And, grin, I guess some folks will like it this way while others won't. As for myself, I'm staying on the list for now, as I've looked around and just don't see any other note taking product that has quite the ease of use as the BN family members. My PK goes with me practically every where, and I'm regularly using the GPS
and
connectivity and word processor and planner and address list and calculator
features.
