Hi Alex and list,
ActiveSync will not work under Vista (as I've stated few weeks ago). You'll get a new feature called Sync Center which is same as ActiveSync. I have no info on using Bluetooth with Sync Center, but I know that USB works (when you connect your BrailleNote, it will popup an Autorun dilog saying that a Windows Mobile device has been connected; BrailleNote will make the standard ActiveSync sound). One day, when I've managed to figure out how Sync Center works with JAWS, I'm definitely going to compose an article about it.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] bluetooth activesync
with Vista?

Hi all:

My sister just got a new laptop with Vista
home premium. It has
bt, but when I scanned for it and looked at
the services,
activesync was not there. Visual display was
also absent. What
can I do to get these services back? I
figured the "sync center",
or whatever Vista has, used the same
underlying program for
synchronization so that current phones/PDAs
could still sync to a
Vista machine, but it does not appear so.

Have a great day,
Alex
