Hi Terry,
The SD card slot is kn the left side of the back panel. It is to the right of the AC adapter, just underneath a small USB client port. The two ports to the right of the serial port (which is in the middle) is USB host ports. Jonathan mentioned it in his mPower tutorial in June 2005.
Cheers,
Joseph

case

Hi Joseph;
If the right section is for serial and usb,
where does the sd card go?
I am looking at an m-power and next to the
port on the right it looks
like there are 2 slots. I thought the lower
one was for the sd card but
if so, what is the other slot for?

case

Hi Rob,
Yes, the shoulder strap is qrovided as part
of the case. There are two front hooks on
the darrying case where you can hook up
shwhlder straps.
With the BrailleNote inside the case, you can
access everything including thumb keys and
all ports on the back. There are two
openings on the back - the left opening is
for AC adapter, the right opening is for
serial and USB devices.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote carry case

Question - I've seen the carry case in
pictures
(remember that I do have some vision), and
i've
noticed most people have it over their
shoulder, and i
was curious. Is that how it's designed or
could I have
it over my shoulder as well? Which would be
less
stressful on the case? I noticed some people
had the
case on their shoulder and the unit itself in
front of
them, which would be uncomfortable for me. I
was also
curious as to what was accessible through the
carry
case in terms of ports, switches, and the
thumb keys.
I did notice the thumb keys and rear ports
are
accessible, but what about the side material
such as
the headphones/microphone ports, power
switch, reset
button, and the PC card slot?
