Andy said that PK's battery (LithiumIon
battery) does not have battery gauge chip on
it.

I have notice that in the BrailleNote PK's
that the tbattery gauge is a bit jumpy. I
was monitoring the battery gauge for about 5
minutes and it jumped from 74%, 69%, 64%,
65%, 68%, 67% and it did this for a while.
The only reason this worries me is when you
are reaching to about 10%, it may jump to 5%
or even 0%, you may never know what your
battery is really at until it turns off at
0%. I also notice that you cannot access
many of the support information mode items
using the PK, some include these: b for last
charge, i for cycle count, c for current
capacity, d for design capacity, t for
temperature, and many others.
If anyone has experienced these behaviors or
has some fix it would be greatly appreciated.
