No. The speed of browsing files is caused by the hard drive speed and the
inherent slowness of the USB interface. The driver helps speed of
registration, but not actual browsing.
Have a great day,

Subject: [Braillenote] question
Hello all,
i have a portable hardrive and am able to play my music on it
using the BN. Scanning the drive doesnt take long, but scanning the actual
folder where my music is located takes quite a long time.
I'm thinking partly because i have so much music may be part of
the issue, but am wondering would the USB driver help to speed up this?
thanks,
Becky
