Yes, absolutely. The new PC Express card slot, which I think you are talking about in most modern laptops, can be used for much more (sound cards, storage, video cards, and so on). Not much of this is to the BN's advantage, so I say take it out and put in another CF slot, then use the remaining extra space for one of those new 30GB hard drives, like the Icon. I know I will get replies talking about those who already have PCMCIA cards, but most of those do not even work in the mPowers (the 3.3 volt only, right?) and so it seems to a greater user advantage to put the PCMCIA slot's space to better use.
