Zip files can be downloaded to the Braille Note, and in a lot of cases, especially with zipped text files, they can be unzipped. All you need to do is rename the extension to a bks extension. Then open it in the book reader and follow the unpacking prompts. You won't need a password.

Subject: [Braillenote] ZIP FILES

Does anyone know if zipped files can be downloaded to the
BrailleNote? Also, because I am still new to this, can anyone let me know if the steps I apply to downloading are correct?

1. have the sd card inserted
2. connect the usb cable to the client port
Then I am stuck. I am going to read up on this and see what
happens. If anyone has the time, could you pass those steps on to a BN user for dummies?
