Hi JD,
I have couple theories regarding your questions:
* If you did not set ActiveSync connection to USB, then I believe you can use BrailleNote as terminal under Window-Eyes. * What JAWS and Window-Eyes is doing is that it will look at a given control, gather information about it, and it will send that information to the synthesizer and/or braille display. So it won't make non-standard controls visible, but it will allow you to see what the control looks like (this, of course depends on how JAWS and Window-Eyes interprets controls). Clicking on a control can easily be done using the routing buttons.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] USB and the braille terminal

Hello List:

This evening while looking my PC using Window-Eyes I found an
interesting item. One of the 56 options for setting up the port
under the BrailleNote is for USB.

Does this work? My dreams will have come true if it does!
A second question: Will using a braille display, such as that on
the BrailleNote, help to make a non-standard control in a system
program visible? I just need to be able to click on a box, but
JFW and Window-Eyes can't see it.

Please let me know. I will have to explore this myself late this
week if no one can tell me before that.
