Hi Scott and list,
Microsoft Exchange Server support requires Windows CE 6.0. Maybe an OS upgrade is needed in the near future.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] New features

Hi

I think what we need are the following:
1. email filtering. This is a must! Especially for those of us
who are on
many lists.
2. SSL in keymail so accounts like Gmail can be supported
proppally.
3. exchange support, many companies use exchange servers for
their email
accessed through outlook and the BrailleNote would be well
regarded for
professionals if it could do this. After all, the competition
can. Yes, that
is using open platform and it would take some work, but the
development team
are creative enough that I feel it could happen.
4. Email message syncronisation: we were promised this in
keysoft 5.0 and it
didn't happen. Being able to syncronise your email from
microsoft outlook to
the BrailleNote and back. This is also a must! The technology is
already
available to do the syncronisation just not for the email. This
needs to be
addressed as we were promised it in 2003 with KS 5.0 and didn't
get it.
5. Audible support, I'm sure many on this list are big fans of
audible for
reading books etc, the competition is audible ready, surely it
would be
possible to make the BrailleNote audible ready?

I have a couple of other features, but they are for another day.
I've read with interest the stuff people have been posting about
features
and they are all good. Personally, I find the games ok, for a
bit of
relaxing I use the media player and if you want long life, grab a
4gb or 8gb
card and set that as your memo recording folder and you can use
it for some
great recordings.

Thank you.

Scott Erichsen
