About beta testing: I asked this long ago, and no one responded.
Well, I take it back. I understood there was an interest in me,
but nothing after that. That was when 7.0 came out.
I don't know that anyone can speculate about 8.0. I do know that
releases are generally made around convention time, which is
generally the end of June or first part of July.
I can tell you that it appears this list isn't monitored like it
used to be. You may need to write to Humanware directly, because
many of us have asked questions on this list, and I don't think
they monitor the same way any more. There are people who still
monitor, but I don't know that they are the folks who could
answer your question.
There is a little misunderstanding here about not being able to
access email. Some ISP's have changed to SSL. It is a secured
site. I don't believe this will hurt you, because in looking at
your email address, you don't have sbcglobal.
I know about your frustration of not getting your unit. I don't
know that I understood everything right, because you were
frustrated about boards, 8.0, and it ran together in my mind. I
didn't understand if you gave up college because of Word

Hi list members. Is anyone Humanware ever going to release wht

8? I've sent my Bn in to get fixed and have been waiting a month
to get it
back because of a backorder of boards. I've had KS 7.2 since it
came out and
it's about time for another release but humanware is close
mouthed about it.
I w was in college before I sent my Bn in and I am no longer in
it because I
do not have it, and when I did there were a lot of problems with
word
documents not formatting correctly annd what is this I here about
no longer
being abole to send email from the unit in a few months? I
thought humanware
added features, not took them out. Can someone email the
software
development manager or engineer and see what's going on? I'm a
little
frustrated becasuse nothing has happened. I've been so desperate
for a sign
of KS 8 that I'vwe signed up to be a beta tester but haven't
heard back.
Does anyone know anything?
