Hi all, This could just be a design feature with the new display, but I thought I'd ask here and hope someone may have an answer. Preferably HW staff!!! who build the units.
I have the 18cell unit mPower BT. It's purchased new as of july last year. It is not a transplant, it is the brand new unit direct from the factory. The right-hand part of the display is slightly lower than the left. Not a lot, but enough to make it noticeable. So that the last character on the display is lower than the frame of the unit. I hope this is making sense. I can live with it, but if it isn't supposed to happen can I please be told what the deal is? Was it a hardware error when building my particular unit? Or is this how all the 18cell displays work? I'm not paying to have it fixed as it was an issue from the day I opened the box!!! just curious. I'd be very interested to know if this can be fixed as I have to send the unit in for the free battery modification anyway.
