Hi,

Thanks for that.
The reason I have tended to make subject lines a bit long, is so anyone receiving the message will know if it's of interest before delving into it.
(Same for in the archive).
That having been said, I think I've read all those that have come through on this list so far.

Thanks and regards,
Steve.

Subject: Steve, subject lines

Hi Steve,
i really don't know much about the matter, but i'm guessing it
has something
to do with the length of said subject lines. IMO it's a good
thing to keep
the subject short and sweet and use the message body for the
breadth of the
message; i try to keep my subject to 4 or 5 words. sometimes this
is tricky
but that's just my thoughts. HTH

Subject: [Braillenote] space missing in subject of messages
distributed
byBrailleNote list

Dear Listers,

Below is a list of four KeyMail messages sent out through the
BrailleNote
distribution list.
There are four fields shown for each one: from; to; sent;
subject.
Because three of the messages were sent by me, there is their
appearance
before sending and after receiving them back.
In all of these messages, a space between two of the words near
the end of
the subject line has gone.
(Their before sending state is included to show that the space
was
originally there).
In each subject, the two words affected are those immediately
after a line
break.
Around characters sixty one or two, there is a space followed by
a line
break.
In the archive, the original posting of these messages contains
the space.

Can I do something to stop the subjects changing?
(Should I just get out more).
