Hi,

Would this work.

It might not always be easy to work out all the time zones that could be involved. However, if we knew the time zone of the sender of the message, when we check the "date sent" field, using the offset included in that field, we can perhaps determine the time from there? I've not tryed it, and we might need to know if in day light saving or not? So, Alex must be in Eastern Time, GMT -0400, in the UK we're currently GMT +0100, so if he tells us it's 15:00 for him we have 20:00 for us.

Regards,
Steve.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] The Next Chat

I notice that time zones, apart from Eastern and Pacific, are so
often not
given at all. I'd have thought that mountaintime would be easy
enough to be
included . . ..

Whilst on this subject, please, I don't want to moan, but those
of us in
other countries sometimes feel pretty second class, not only
because of the
parts of the upgrades we can't use but because little
consideration is given
when it comes to chats. Please, I would so appreciate it if
people could
try to make the effort to check times of chats for folk in other
countries
before inviting everyone. This really would be helpful as I
always find I
have to go to do the looking up, only to find that almost all are
when I
just must be in bed! <Smiles

I do hope to join in some of these from time to time.
