Dear Jerry,
Joseph said that other interference might be the cause. However,
if I have only had 2 minor connectivity issues then why would I
be affected now and not more often? This seems to only be
happening after I have had the card for about 6 months.
From,
Bobby

Hi Bobby, Thanks for your questions. It's possible, but I'm
hesitant to
think the problem is with the card. The previous card you had
trouble with
worked fine after we got it back and tested it here in our
office. So, I
think something else is going on, possibly with your wireless
router,
internet connection to the router, or poor signal. Sometimes
just rebooting
your router can fix this kind of problem, or getting closer to
you wireless
router in order to get a stronger signal. Have you tried those
things? I
would reboot your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then
plugging
it back in and giving it a couple minutes to boot up, and then
staying in
the same room as your router with your BrailleNote and restart
you
BrailleNote, and see what happens. You might also take the card
out of your
BrailleNote and put it back in again just to make sure your
BrailleNote is
detecting it. Let us know. Jerry

Dear Viola,
Jerry, correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was a sand disk.
Viola, How odd. I have been getting messages like not connected
after a few minutes of not using the card but still having it
connected. I'm on a BrailleNote list and I'll ask them right
now, Have you had this happen? I'd have to say it is very strange
that it won't work in my unit or rather will work on a limited
basis. I might just need to cut down on using the card, because
I have used it a lot since I got it in March. List, Could you
please send me any solutions? Please, when it says reply to the
sender only please say no so that Viola will get the message too.
Viola, if you would like the link to the subscription info for
this list, just let me know.
From,
Bobby

Hi Bobby:
The last time you sent us the card back, it worked just fine for
us. Please
check your wireless connection. I checked with humanware and
this shouldn't
be an ongoing problem. what brand was the card?

Pam and
Jerry know. Which card did you have? Viola

Dear Viola,
I think I'm in need of another card. This one that you sent me
in March has been used quite a bit, and the last couple of weeks
for some reason, it just drops the connection after a couple of
minutes of not being used.

Bobby
