Hi Steven, I've had the same problem, actually last April just after
the machine was seen by a tech at CSUN.
I did several resets, all kinds, options menu braille display, all
kinds of stuff. I finally got it to come back but I can't really
remember exactly what brought it back.
Does it display any braille at all? When it happened to me, the
machine would display "starting keysoft." Then it would go blank. This
is how I was convinced that there was no real hardware problem.
As I said, it came back, but not sure exactly how. What I do know is
that there are still problems. Occasionally there are dots which don't
come up. This is unpredictable, because sometimes they'll pop up, and
sometimes not.
At first hw said it was a software, but we tried some things and it
didn't fix the problem.
I just loaded build 54, but no change.
My advice is to keep trying the resets, make sure the power is
connected. To go options and make sure braille display is on. At some
point the silly thing will realize it has a perfectly goot display.
I'm planning to send my machine in but I can't now because I'm teaching a class.
Good luck.
Rusty

Hi Steve:

Try going from the Main Menu, and go into the Options Menu.
Press F. Do this several times, and see if it will bring your
display up. Good luck to you.
