Hi Steve,
On a previous issue with the BN's FM radio someone suggested a
gentle upside down shake.
I wonder if this might be worth a try in this case to persuade
the display to work.
It can't hurt--can it?
Regards,
Steve.
P.s., I did get a braille key on the keyboard working by gentley
shaking the BN at a slight angle, but have no experience of the
upside down shake.

Subject: [Braillenote] can't get braille display to work
Hi, I can't get the braille display to work. I've tried resetting
the machine and then pressing space wit b y and then enter but it
just says the braille display is not working. I've tried a reset
with the record button, and then going through the space bar plus
b y and enter and again the message is spoken. Whilst I can quite
adequately use the machine with the voice, as I'm doing now, in
some circumstances because I'm partially deaf, a braille display
helps me as well. Any thoughts anyone or is this a Humanware
visit case. I'm going to be seeinf them at Sight Village as part
of BCAB's Sight Village Plus on Thursday so as part of their free
service, maybe they can fix the problem there, but any thoughts
as I say will be appreciated.
Cheers, Steve
