What I would recommend for those who are still awaiting access to 4.0 is to
become familiar with the documentation as all of that is available on the
website.
I would download the entire 40docs.zip and become familiar with the
following:

User Manual

Quick Reference Guide

Changes Doc

Audio Tutorial

Read Me

By becoming familiar with the documentation, once you recieve your version
of 4.0, you will be able to dive into the program at full force as you won't
be spending time reading the documentation. Chris has done an excellent job
of outlining the new features of 4.0 as well as walking users step-by-step
through every thing and commands for both keyboard type are included. The
nice thing about the quick reference guide is that it was built from the new
and
improved help menu found in the Sendero GPS Version 4.0, so after reading
and becoming familiar with the quick reference guide you will have a pretty
good
foundation of the help menu.
