Hi Donna and All,

Sorry, I can't help you with your QT question--well, only to say, as I'm
guessing you've already seen, that the MSP documentation only refers to BT
commands when talking about the BN family members.

However, to answer the other part of your question, I do currently have a BT
mPower, as well as a PK. I also have the Cingular 8125, as well as the HP
iPAQ 6945. And, I have successfully paired and used each PDA/phone device
with my mPower and PK.

Now, although one is able to control their PDA with these BN family members;
well, for me, anyway, I can't seem to readily remember all the keystrokes
for doing so. True, they might be quite intuitive and all; however, when I
already have quite good devices such as the PK and mPower that do most
things I need, I tend to find it a bit more work to take the time to set up
the two devices so the BN is able to work as the Braille display. Then,
too, seeing as I tend to like to use my cell phone as a modem for my BN
devices, I kind of hate to mess up my Bluetooth connection for that every
time I want to make the BN a Braille display for the PPC PDA.

Subject: [Braillenote] Pairing the BN with MobileSpeak and a PDA phone

Hi again all,

One of my reasons for considering the BrailleNote is that I would like
to pair it with my PDA phone and MobileSpeak Pocket. Are there any
differences in how the qwerty versus the Perkins style models perform,
I.e. do they both offer the same level of connectivity? My
understanding was that one could actually control the phone from the BN.
Is this accurate?
Thanks again,
Donna
