I have never heard of this before now either. If they wanted to do this, they should have made this plain when the transaction was done.

Wait a minute!!  A debit card can also be processed as a CREDIT CARD.  I

have customers who do this with my company all the time.  They ONLY GET
CHARGED when the product ships.  So, the excuse advanced by Humanware is
a
LAME ONE.  I don't what bank you deal with, but with my bank here in my
Denver Bush, I can get a refund when I file a complaint.  And I don't
even
have to LET THE BANK know whether or not I used a debit card as a credit

card or debit.  It's wrong to CHARGE FOR A PRODUCT that HAS NOT SHIPPED,

never heard of it until now.
