Those features are already there and it makes no sense to take them away from those who need them. Besides, IM is a need to only a few while something like better MS Word support is a need to a lot more. Don't get me wrong--I would love to see a lot of things that are personal needs, but not many people would agree with me (IM, a converter, more JS event handler support, more description of HTML tags like font or strike, and so on).

Have a great day,
Alex

My opinion, just remove the FM radio and games altogether and
replace it
with things we *need*, and not *want*. For example, to me,
instant messaging
is a *need* and not just a *want*.

I don't use im, but if some people do that's great. My
frustration
with this or any other feature is that it takes so long to get
features that I wonder how they decide which to put in. For
example,
games are great, but are they necessary to the function of the
braillenote family. Could other things be more beneficial. I'm
not
arguing for or against, but if we're going to pay the money we do
for
these pieces of equipment, I want the thing to do as much
usefully as
possible.At 01:43 PM 8/9/2007, you wrote:
I know what you mean Gail, but blind people may want to talk to

will
overlook this and make it low priority. Just my two pence worth.

I've never known a note taker or computer for that matterwhich
would
give a massage, instant or otherwise. Wow, could the blindness
industry make a bundle on that.

I'm teasing of course. I really do understand that you meant
instant
messaging, and I'm sure it would be wonderful for those who use
it.
But would it be useful to enough people to ad as a feature I've
always wondered how Humanware decides which things customers ask
for
get top priority. At 01:27 PM 8/9/2007, chaman wrote:
Hello.

I want to know what exactly humanware are doing. There is too
less
communication between humanware and the users. And when are we
going to get the features that are really used by people now like
instant massaging. All competitor notetakers have this
capability. Humanware always seem to be improving on features
and
not having new features. Yes i agree that the features that are
currently there should be improved before going any further.
But come on how are all the competitors doing? Keysoft 7,5 should
not be a sma count from uk customers. us customers have some
features to look forward to but us uk customers have not much to
look forward to.
Please could someone from humanware respond.
Thanks
