Bryan, thanks for the help. I've been confirmed by my father that if
couriers bring it they'll knock on my door and I may be asked to sign, which
shouldn't be a problem, so long as I explain to them that I can't properly
sign due to my blindness. Then I'll wait for my helper to help me unpack as
I'm absolutely rubbish at unpacking. Thanks again for the help, will keep
you all updated.

Not sure how they deliver BrailleNotes in the UK. Mine arrived
by United Parcel Service (UPS) from my Humanware dealer in
Toronto.
UPS generally requires a signature upon delivery, so they buzzed
my apartment from the building front door and brought the box to
my apartment. I signed for it and unpacked it myself.
So if a courier brings it, expect to be required to sign for the
delivery, after all, it is a high value parcel.
If your dealer brings the unit over, they'll probably help you
unpack it, plug it in and ensure everything that was supposed to
be packed with it is in fact present.
