I also noticed "al" in place of "also" in an email I saw earlier.
Maybe the UEB thing?

Hello everyone, when reading several emails that I have sent
since upgrading I've noticed that some of the contracted braille
has been changed to grade one. I've typed Z for "as", X for "it"
and "gd" for good and it has changed them to letters. I wonder
why this is happening?
