Hi all, on the subject of recording, am I better off recording using the internal microphone, saving them to my 256 MB CompactFlash card, or just writing the lecture notes and downloading it to my PC afterwards. I appreciate that there's no right or wrong in this, but it's nice to know from other students in particular what they found the best when using their BrailleNotes in class. Thanks in advance. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Taraprakash" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Joseph Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]>

Subject: [Braillenote] question about recording

Hi all. I was just wondering if someone had tried it.
I want to record 3 hour long classes using my MPower. Do you think 2 GB card will be enough for recording a 3 hour long lecture?
Regards
Tara

Subject: [Braillenote] "Exception: command: 600" eror appears when turningon Data Entry Mode in KeyPlus under KS7.5

Hi there,
Under some strange circumstances, KeyPlus (Under KeySoft 7.5) gives
following message when enabling Data Entry:
Exception: Command: 600 at "address." Access violation "memory location."
This happens when:
* Both speech and Braille are enabled
* When recording
This message appears even though the second condition is not met and if
speech is off.
After several attempts at enabling/disabling Data Entry mode, KeyPlus exits
with the Exception error message. After this, when attempting to Access
KeyPlus from Main Menu, either it gives an error tone or it simply says
"KeyPlus" and exits. The only way to stop this is by Reseting the
BrailleNote.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. This is another "bug" that was discovered this morning after
"error 10038" error was discovered last night.
