Hi folks,
Since we're dealing with translation errors
in KeySoft 7.5, I'd like to conduct a little
statistical survey regarding this. Those of
us who are using KeySoft 7.5 can participate
in this survey.
The purpose of this survey is to gather
users' feedback on braille translation
issues. This survey consists of number of
questions dealing with translation in
general. This survey will be conducted today
and tomorrow (hopefully until Labor Day here
in United States). Data that has been
collected from this survey will be sent to
the list and to the HumanWare staff,
specifically Maurice Sloane and Jonathan
Sharp.
If you have KeySoft 7.5, please answer the
following questions:
1. What type of model (mPower, PK or
Classic) and keyboard type do you have? ggin
this case, if you say PK, I'll accept it as
BT, since PK has braille keyboard)
2. When do you encounter braille translation
errors (while sending email, printing, etc.)?
3. When this happens, what is the
"temporary" solution that you've found to
work?
bled. Which contraction (or any conditions
e.g. when typing this contraction after
press capital sign) does this symptom occur?
Thanks for your responses.
I'll compute the results and send the data to
the list as well as to HumanWare staff. I
need help with this (please help me do this
quickly and efficiently as to give most
accurate figure as possible). Thanks for
your considerations.
Regards,
Joseph Lee
