Hi Carol and List:
It doesn't matter what you are using in relationship to 7.5. It
doesn't seem to matter whether you use UEB or not. The dot six Y
is being taken as an "ally" sign, which strikes me as odd,
because you would never use "ally" in the beginning of a
sentence. The letter X standing for the word "it" isn't being
recognized. There are several other words. When you use UEB,
write the word "considerable". It's pretty strange, and I am
still working with it. At this time, I am just writing in
computer braille. The other thing I have noticed, when I write
in grade two, it's perfect on my end. However, when it is sent,
it loses the translation. If you read it with your fingers, you
can't tell anything is wrong. When you listen to it, put your
cursor on the word that doesn't sound right.

Yep, we need to establish ...
1) Which grades of Braille are being used when these errors
occur?
2) Which make and model is being used to write the email (EG,
BN mPower)
3) Does everyone think the writing is fine before it's
translated?
4) Are capital letters being used in any of the words
translated?
5) Has anyone kept a list of the Braille errors and do these
form any
particular pattern?
I'm sure there are more queries, but that would be a good place
to start to
sort this one!

Hi folks,
Does this happen when all contractions are proceeded by capital
sign?
Maybe
I'll run Debug mode with HyperTerm (if it is possible) to see
what
happens.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hello, I'm using a BT as well. F what I can tell, the problem
only happens when the contraction is preceded with dot six. The
problem doesn't happen until the email is sent. I've written an
email, saved it and then opened it up a few times and everything
looks fine until you actually send it and then receive it back.
Sincerely,
John

Hi Diane,
I don't know.
Since you've mentioned it, I'd like to ask all of you who've had
this
translation error: which keyboard model do you all use? (I use BT
model)
That should allow us (users) to narrow down the problem to
specific cases.
Cheers,
Joseph
