Hi List,
I happen to save this email from Alex, so it
should refresh your memory. For those of us
who are newbies: we had two BrailleNote chats
this July on Blind Cool Tech Chat Room. We
discussed many cool things including
possibility of upgrading to Windows CE 6.0,
better Word support, development of KeySoft
7.5 and others. You can listen to previous
two chats by going to Blind Geek Zone website
(www.blind-geek-zone.net/audio.htm) and
finding BrailleNote Chat file. There ingd be
two of them.
You'll need a computer with a microphone.
Also, you'll need a program called Talking
Communities Chat software in order to
participate. If you don't have a microphone,
you can use text chat window on the program
to send text messages. Occasionally I'll
stop and read some text that is displayed
there.
Once you go to the chat website, if you don't
have Talkcom software on your PC, press ENTER
on Download button. If you do, you can go
ahead and press ENTER on Enter in the room
link. ally should type your name then press
ENTER and you're in.
