No idea if it will help, but try FAT32. You are right to be
upset; there is no reason for this to happen. It reminds me of
how HW tried to fix my spacebar four times; each time it was like
they had done nothing to it. I love my BN, but sometimes I really
have to question its creator.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Update on 7.5 destroying my thumb drive
Ok, here's an update on my Kingston thumb drive situation.
Every time I reformat the drive in Fat on my laptop, then plug
it in to the BN, the BN destroys it. I have done this three times
already. When I plug the drive in to the BN, it takes a minute
and then it says ready, but the drive does not appear in the list
of drives. When I then take the drive back to the laptop,
Windows tells me that the drive needs to be formatted. So,I go
ahead and reformat the drive and the vicious cycle begins again.
Humanware, I repeat, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE! I will call
tech support in the morning, but I would really like to hear from
someone at humanware about this situation. I am really disgusted
with this whole thing.

Subject: 7.5 destroyed my thumb drive
Hi,
I can't believe it. I just installed 7.5 and it destroyed my
thumb drive. For what ever reason I lost all of my data on the
thumb drive. The bn wouldn't
recognize it and I had to reformat it on the PC because the PC
wouldn't recognize it either. Now, the BN still wont recognize
it in 7.5, but it use to
work fine in 7.2. It's a Kingston thumb drive 1 gig. I lost a
ton of data. What the hell is going on here!
