What about going in the actions menu and marking the files then deleting
with the backspace+2356 command? Would that work? I seem to remember
that there's a feature to mark all emails and then you can trash them
all without exiting keymail and waiting for bn to do it automatically
(therefore avoiding the bug).

Hi Alex and All,

Have you tried emptying the trash by using the backspace with the dots 2
3 5
6 command? True, you would have to do that for each message in your
trash
folder, and 700 is a lot of messages, but perhaps you could do a little
at a
time to start deleting them? This does work on my PK running KS 7.5
build
18, although I do have to admit that I haven't tried it on my mPower, as
the
mPower is still running KS 7.2.

I would agree if I didn't have almost 700 emails in my trash folder;
keymail is almost as slow on my mPower as it was on my classic. I can
imagine the problems HW is facing with all these bugs (all I have done
in c++ is write simple programs, and they have to basically debug an
entire OS. I have fought with programs for hours before figuring out I
had defined a variable in the wrong place or closed a conditional
statement in the wrong spot. To go through what has to amount to
hundreds of thousands of lines of code and figure out why keymail and
keybook broke when the bug they fixed was with the Braille translator
must have many on the HW dev team ready to just toss the entire thing,
quite literally, out the window. At least they updated us as soon as
possible on what is going on, and from how it sounded it seems to be
going well; to already have a version in beta after two days? That takes
serious tallent and dedication.

Have a great day,
Alex
