Hi all,

No, it's not weird. It's not really OT as our minds are on the
anniversary too.

One of the most profound experiences of my life was to take part in
the Rolling Requiem. Mozart's Requiem was sung by thousands of people
all over the world on the first anniversary of 09/11/01. Each chorus
started in their own time zone at08:46 in the morning, and the
arrangers of the event made sure that most time zones had at least one
chorus singing.

We had a combined chorus of some three hundred voices. We all wore
badges with the name of someone who had died in the tragedy. It was,
as I say, one of the most moving experiences of my life. We all,
every, single one of us, wept as we sang. It was, as the kids say,
awesome, in the old sense of the word, inspiring awe.
