John, if you've purchased your BrailleNote before the release of Keysoft
7.5, you can upgrade for free. That's all I know though. My predictions for
the future of the BrailleNote are: upgrade to Windows CE 6.0 so that more
bluetooth services are supported and instant messaging capabilities. Any
more ideas folks?

Subject: [Braillenote] future of the braille note

Hi list
very interesting listening to the posts on the upgrade.
I live in the uk and feel that the upgrade is not worth it for me.
I am not sure what the cost is but I will wait to see what the future holds.
I am very busy piano tuning playing chess and living a full life so,
I may have missed some emails especially concerning the future of our
braille notes.
I am a pk user and note the pac mate is moving forward in October.
does anyone know about the future of our grate product?
I am very seriously considering purchasing the small talk ultra for
portability and the use of windows xp.
I would love to be able to stream from say the bbc with my pk but of
course this cannot be done.
I work away a lot so need portability.
cheers.
the gps on the pk is the best.
