Hi, I have discovered that with Keysoft 7.2 build 47 at least, there is a
problem whereby if you tell the BrailleNote to obtain an IP address
automatically, then attempt to connect to the internet with a connection
that uses authenticated proxy, it complains that the page cannot be
displayed. However, if I set obtain an IP address automatically to no, then
set the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, primary DNS server, etc,
it will connect fine and pages will display. Does HumanWare know about this?
I believe this workaround may help those like my friend Will who's having
problems connecting to the internet using a connection that uses
authenticated proxy. I apologize for the technical babble here, but needs
must when discussing networking.
