Well Peter, what is your e-mail provider? If it's Googlemail, then no they're not correct; they're ports 995 (pop3) and 465 (smtp) respectively. Also, are you both running Keysoft 7.5 build 20? This is particularly important if you plan to use providers that uses SSL to authenticate the connection. Hope that helps. I am helping a friend set up a new Voicenote. She has the new software, but I don't. We are both in the UK. We have configured our machines identically, but mine works and hers doesn't. When she tries to send and receive e-mail, her machine pauses, and then comes up with a message like "can't find port, check modem is connected". It does not dial out. I seem to remember reading on this list that you need to change the ports in the new software. Mine works, and uses pop port 110, smtp port 25. Am I right? Can anyone help?
