Switch back to kng, then reset. Eloquence doesn't like to behave
sometimes.

Peter,
Here are the steps to change speech synthesizer:
1. Go into Options, SPACE with O (FN with O)
2. Press R for Review Voice
3. Space down until you see, "speech synthesizer." It will say
elloquence or
Keynote gold if you have a mPower, Clasic and PK only have
keynote gold.
Press E for elloquence, K for keynote gold.

Doesn't matter. If Eloquence is more responsive in 7.5 than
previous
versions, then I'm happy. I like KeyNote Gold, but it's nice to

improved in stability and responsiveness as a whole.

Be sure your synthesizer is set to Keynote Gold. Eloquence
doesn't
support
all of the languages.
