The 456 may help, but as I don't have with problem I can't say
for sure. It erases all temporary files and restarss ks. It
seems to take care of problems that normal restarts do not, such
as getting rid of my problem of freezing when detaching files;
normal resets did nothing, a 456 reset took care of it.

What difference will a 456 reset make over a regular reset? The
regular reset makes the problem go away but it has come back a
few times. Will the 456 reset get rid of the problem for good?
Sorry, I am not all that familliar with the purposes of the
different resets.

I have never had this problem, even with 7.5, but you may want to
try a 4-5-6 reset.
