Alex, curious to know, he did state that he had a BN, but maybe he has a VN
as well? Please elaborate Ian. Thanks.

First, what type of machine do you have? A braille- or voicenote,
mPower, classic, or PK, what version of keysoft, and what type of
keyboard?
I am not sure about the display question, but when you are in a
document enter the options menu (space-o on a braille keyboard,
function-o? on a QUERTY). Press b for braille display options,
then space down to "show new lines as" and press space-3-4 (on
bt, not sure of qt) until you see an option that you like. HTH.

Have a great day,
Alex

>Hi, my name is Ian and I took delivery of my BN today. I opted
for it following an unsatisfactory experience with a PACMate.,
But I have the following questions having not been able to delve
too deeply into the manual as yet.

>1. Sometimes the Braille display simply drops off. This is
following a first full charge of the battery. Is there any
reason for this?

>Second. When in a Keyword doc if I press the enter key an ed
sign followed by a p appears on the screen. clearly this is a
bit of formatting code. How do I turn it off please?

>With best wishes.
