Hi Alex, the documents that I want to read are pretty long but to be honest I wasn't expecting them to take any time at all to open as there is a book reader and I would have thought it would have been pretty instantaneous. It does sound as though it's doing something by bleeping but it doesn't appear to be showing any results. How big is the document? Some pdf files are huge, and their resulting txt files can be very large as well. The bn may be opening your document but taking a long time because of how big it is. Also, loading from a usb device will take much longer than any other device, and sd cards are not as fast as the flash disk or cf cards.
