Hi Karina, Do you know the "actual" size of the text file? It is known that if some large file is being opened, keySoft tend to stall. This is because of the fact that Memory Manager in CE is trying to load the file into RAM and the transfer control over to KeySoft. When opening a file, you might think that KeySoft has locked up. But in fact the file is being loaded, except that the memory on CE is not designed to open such a large file. From my experiences and testing, files that are larger than, say 3 MB will take about a minute ot two to open. Also, it is recommended that you save the file in questiohn as txt rather than MS Word due to the file size and memory size limits of CE (MS Word files are larger than txt). Hope this explains somewhat. Cheers, Joseph

It does sound as though it's doing something by bleeping but it doesn't appear to be showing any results. Some pdf files are huge, and their resulting txt files can be very large as well. The bn may be opening your document but taking a long time because of how big it is. Also, loading from a usb device will take much longer than any other device, and sd cards are not as fast as the flash disk or cf cards.
