Hi,
the bn will not read all .doc documents.
You could try changing the extension of the document you want to import from .doc to .txt. You should then be able to read the document on your bn but some of the formatting may change slightly.
I wish you luck.
Regards, Richard.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem reading *.doc documents with my
VoiceNote QT.

Good evening listers from Lebanon!

I own since the year 2003 a VoiceNote QT baring the serial number
16171 if
this means anything with KeySoft CE Version 5.1 build 19, compact
flash card
and IBM microdrive are installed as well. Since days I received
an e-mail
from Nattiq Technologies the company I'm working for with a word
document
attached to it. I saved the attachment on my compact flash to
read it from
my VoiceNote QT as I'm doing with most of my *.doc documents.
I'm able to
open the file from my system but to my surprise, I'm unable to
open it from
my VoiceNote. As soon as I access it, I receive the following
error message:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another
process.
Your contributions are highly appreciated to help me recover this
annoying
problem.

Best regards,
