thanks a bunch for the info.
Yes, i looked at the space remaining on the flash disk after deleting temp
files, and again after going back on to the net, and it bears out what you
say.
I also had another bash at logging on to my bank account and, woopie,
succsess.  I suppose it will have to remain a mystery.
