I believe at the point in which I jumped in the thread changed to using the 
PC's internet on the BrailleNote via ActiveSync. 

I think that it will be very helpful if you are able to provide directions to 
get ActiveSync up and running using a Mac.

Very helpful.
The thing is, this person is using a mac not a PC so to get activeSync 
working on the mac is a little more difficult.
Remember though that the BrailleNote is not supported as a Braille display 
on the mac at all. so using braille terminal is pointless on the mac.
I have access to a mac in the next few days so can provide instructions on 
how to get activeSync working if people would like it.
