Hi All, Going more toward portability and the GW Micro excellent product support, I've just sold my BrailleNote mPower in preparation for purchasing a Voice Sense. I do, however, intend to keep my BrailleNote PK at least for the foreseeable future.
But, while I had the mPower, although I didn't have any real problems with the unit, I did find the PK battery to last longer, maybe longer by half than that of the mPower. I do have to admit, though, that I mostly did use my PK, so part of the problem could have been that I never did get my mPower on a regular battery cycle, as it spent a lot of time in a discharged state. I won't go into much detail but the mPower is a lot faster and less prone to crashes. It is still possible to emboss/print to a device using a parallel port, there are Bluetooth to Parallel adapters and USB to Parallel adapters and believe Serial to Parallel adapters.
