Catherine, At the moment there isn't a field that allows for direct tag input, but this can be accomplished by the work-around you have already outlined--inserting a tag in the title or location field. Maybe something like, (student) after the title of the appointment.

I find this useful because I quite often need to total up different things for sending in timesheets to one or more companies, or writing on my CV how many days of a particular thing I've done. For example at the end of each month I can search for the tag "student support" so I can count the number of days I've worked for a Student Support office and submit my timesheets to them. I'm going over to using the BrailleNote's planner because I want something portable and which can be compatible with Outlook if needs be. I'm just wondering - is there any way of tagging dates in the Planner? I don't think so from what I've found out so far. So have people got any suggestions as to how to achieve what I like about my current diary program? I'm guessing it'll be by writing a particular piece of text in the appointment description and then searching for that whenever I want to count something, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.
