Hi Desi,

The length of the lines in your emails looks quite normal to me.
Like Jim mentioned, may be the issue is nearer your husband's side of things--though I can't really see what.
Has he received emails from anyone else with minute lines?
Is it all email you have sent to him or just a one off?
If you send an email to him and someone else, do they both see the same problem? Was your husband's machine on the same router with a similar connection? I have seen very short lines, even one character long in files, but that was during dial up, many years ago, when using 1200 Baud--absolutely nothing to do with the BN. If you have dial up, does the problem happen when using that instead of wireless?

Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] Using the BN to send e-mail messages

Hi Everyone,

I sent a message about this the other day, but didn't get any
responses. I know that many folks were away celebrating Thanksgiving, so am trying this again, in hopes that someone will have an answer to my question. Recently, we got a wireless router, so I decided to set up a connection with my BrailleNote. I set up my e-mail, and have had no trouble sending or receiving, but my sighted husband pointed out to me, after I sent him a message, that my messages are appearing in short little lines about 10 characters long. To me, they don't appear that way on my BN. I'm wondering what I can do so that each line of my messages can be longer than 10 characters in length? I went into the format menu and tried to change my right margin, thinking that might help, but either the change didn't really take, or it didn't seem to make any difference. Can anyone help me with this? I don't know if it could be a transmition problem of some kind? I read through the entire e-mail chapter in the BN user's guide, and couldn't seem to find anything which addresses this. Thanks for any help you can give.

Desi
