I too get something like this.
Someone suggested it might be the volume, so I tried reading
Kerri's reply with the volume at 1.
Still got the distortion.
If I ask the BN to just read the word "law", no problem, but if
it starts reading on or before the "the" it says "law" in a
distorted fashion.

We want to know if this is typical or if we have a problem
machine.
On my wife's new MPower a popping or cracking occurs when the
machine says
certain sounds. The word through makes it pop every time.
I have a classic and do not notice this treatment. I think my
wife is using
elloquence.
Is this typical? Or does it mean there is a speaker problem and
we should
expect it to stop talking?
