Robert and list,
I have done an informal test on my own bn, and here is what I
came up with.
I went into a blank keyword document and typed, the law requires.
I had my speech volume level at 5, and this made the distortion
with the speaker that I explained sounded like a busted stereo
speaker. I also went into the planner menu by going to main
menu, then p. I pressed space to the prompt, open planner, and
it made the pop before the word open that it always does. So, I
went into the options menu and pressed r for review voice, and
went to speech volume level and turned it to 1 and redid both
tests. It was much better, but remember to turn the volume up
using enter with dot 4 or down with enter dot 1, because it will
lower the volume tremendously, as you already know I'm sure.
Then, just to see what would happen, I upped the level of the
speech volume to 2, and it still did not make the popping noise
with either test. So try that and let me know if that worked for
you or not.
Kerri
